Sometimes it is very useful to know your iPad IP address. From the IP address of your iPad, you will know which wireless router/network it is connected to, so you can change some settings on the router for your iPad.
How to Find the IP Address of an iPad?
To find out the iPad IP address is straight forward. You can follow below steps.
- Tap on the Settings icon on the home screen of your iPad to start the Settings app.
- Tap on Wi-Fi Networks from the Settings app.
- Find the active Wi-Fi network name of the wireless router your iPad is currently connected to. Tap the blue arrow button next to the active network name.
- You will find the iPad IP address as below:
In this example, we assume you use a DHCP address for your iPad. If your iPad is using a static IP address or BootP, you can tap those tabs to find the IP address of your iPad.
