Download from iPhone to Computer
You can wirelessly get your photos and videos off from iPhone to computer, Mac or PC, through desktop web browsers. To do that, please connect both the iPhone and computer to the same Wi-Fi network, then follow below steps.
Note: This guide applies to both iPhone and iPod. If you are on iPad, refer to this guide: Step by Step Downloading Photos and Videos from iPad to Computer.
Step 1. Run Wi-Fi Transfer App on your iPhone
Step 2. Tap on Send button, then tap on Computer
You should get two downloading URL address for HTTP download through web browser.
Note: You can use either of the URLs to access your iPhone camera roll/photo library with a desktop browser.
Step 3. Start a Web Browser on your Computer to Open the Download URL address
Note: 1.You can use any browser on a Mac or Windows PC.
2. Any desktop web browser can do the job, such as IE, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc. In this demo, we used default IE browser on a Windows 7 computer.
3. Make sure to type in the full URL address which starts with ‘http://’, ends with 4 digits port number, and a colon before the port number.
Step 4. Open an iPhone Album and Download Photos & Videos to Computer
All your photo albums on iPhone should now be displayed on your desktop browser. You can open any albums and download photos & videos from iPhoneto Mac or Windows computers through your computer browser.
However for data downloading through browser, there will be a 2G maximum file size limit. For photos/videos larger than 2G, you can download and use the Free desktop companion software, Wireless Transfer for Mac & Windows. You can find the download URLs from the user guide page here.
